Despite his family's many moves, however, Paul always returned to Southern California. It was here that his Mother's and Father's families had an early impact on his love of food.
While studying Visual Arts at the Pennsylvania State University, Paul realized his true passion resided in the Culinary Arts. Determined to follow his heart, he began working for a local chef who subsequently mentored him on his rise in the culinary field. Once he had gained knowledge of the fundamentals, Paul relocated to Washington, DC where his talent, determination, and drive led him to work at many area restaurants and subsequently joining an up and coming
Paul opened Town Hall and Sixth Engine with his new partners and received many accolades for his contemporary cuisine. After his success in Washington, Paul decided to move to State College, PA, where he and his wife could raise their two sons and daughter in a family-oriented community.
